Bob Bown

Adv Dip CFT

I help couples and individuals to overcome personal obstacles, improve their relationships, change the way they think and find peace and contentment even when in difficult circumstances. I have learned to do this in my own life and marriage. I gained an Advanced Diploma in Christian and Family Counselling from A.I.F.C in 2007. I have been helping people regularly with issues like anger management, handling grief, building self-esteem, anxiety and depression, relationship problems and addictions. I have also helped clients who have experienced road accident trauma. As a Christian counsellor I help clients to draw upon their faith and bible teaching to help them add and extra dimension to their emotional and mental wellbeing.

Sophie White

Intern Counsellor

Hi, my name is Sophie. I am a counselling intern with Harvest Community Care.

Over the years, my heart for coming alongside people has led to my involvement with various youth organisations in the community, wellbeing-related roles in schools, and now the space of counselling.

There are many different reasons you may be interested in the support of a counsellor. Some are hoping to address issues that leave them feeling “stuck” and unable to move forward in their current life; some are looking for healing from past trauma; some are seeking personal growth, and some might just feel that connecting with a counsellor may be helpful in their journey.

Whether it is change, healing, or growth that you are looking for, I am passionate about coming alongside people in these areas. I offer a space for you to be heard and supported with consideration to a holistic approach, integrating the cognitive, emotional, physical, and social aspects of a person. For those who consider faith and spirituality as an important part of their life, this is an area we can incorporate in counselling sessions.

Under supervision, I will be offering sessions at a reduced rate until the end of the 2024.

If you are considering counselling, I would love to hear from you.
